The hotel offers luxury accommodation with a long standing reputation for good food. For much of the year guests can enjoy the outdoors and harbour activity from a front row position on the hotel's spacious waterside terrace. During the few colder months Cornwall experiences, guests can seek the comforts of the lounge with its real log fire. In addition to the 27 guest rooms, the hotel also features a lobby with a hotel safe, as well as a restaurant, Internet access and room service. Limited car parking is also available on site(chargeable). Location This charming beach hotel is located in the heart of the village of St. Mawes, itself situated on the tip of the Roseland Peninsula, facing the port of Falmouth. St. Mawes is located on the southern coast of Cornwall, the UK's mildest county, where daffodils begin to bloom in January. A quaint fishing village, St. Mawes is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that remains largely unspoilt by commercial influence. Guests will find restaurants, the beach and a tourist centre in St. Mawes, while Truro with its shops and attractions is about a 30-minute drive away. Plymouth Airport is roughly 128 km from the hotel, whereas Exeter Airport is some 167 km away and Bristol Airport about 268 km from the hotel. Rooms Each of the bedrooms has been individually furnished with an emphasis on comfort and style. As standard, all rooms have remote control TV, a hospitality tray, hairdryer, clock/radio, direct dial telephone and a PC modem connection. The rooms are also en suite and feature a bath. Central heating also comes as standard in all rooms. Sport The nearby beach in the village is sandy. Meals The Water's Edge restaurant has held 2 AA Rosettes since 1989 - that adds up to 20 years of consistently producing delicious food thanks to the abundance of high quality local produce from the land and the sea. Payment American Express, MasterCard and VISA are accepted as methods of payment. A small fee is charged when using American Express.
