Tunisia Holidays

Tunisia may be a small country in the north of Africa, with half its area desert, but it nevertheless is a great holiday destination. Its Mediterranean coast has superb beaches, its climate offers year round heat, and it has a plethora of historic sites. Many of the towns have grown beyond the walls of the original medinas. The narrow streets and alleyways within the medina are traffic free and are filled with shops and stalls that are so popular with tourists. Apart from beach life, desert treks and sightseeing excursions, Tunisia has a number of excellent golf courses.

Holidays In Tunisia

Tunisia holidays are a great choice for families. With six hundred miles of coastline, most of it boasting soft sun-kissed sands and warm shallow water, five star hotels with every modern amenity, superb restaurants catering for even the most fussy eater, Tunisia holidays are sure to please.

Tunisia holidays can be as relaxed or as active as you wish as there are numerous recreational activities and sightseeing opportunities. Water sports include surfing, skiing, diving and snorkelling. There are several excellent golf courses and many tennis courts. On the eastern coast there is a water park and a small theme park. Safaris into the desert, on camel or by jeep, are a popular excursion.

If you are staying in a purpose built resort, you may wish to visit the medina of a neighbouring town. Here you will experience the true flavour of the country.

If you are looking for a break by the sea that is just a little different, a Tunisia holiday may be the answer.
