The Perla Marina hotel occupies a great position, right opposite the sea and beach. Nerja has over 10 miles of sandy beaches and all major water sports are available here, including water skiing, scuba diving and sailing. The Balcon de Europa is a promenade along the edge of a cliff, with great panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the small coves and beaches below. To one side of the town is the Sierra Almijara mountain range. Location This hotel has 2 buildings on the same street linked by an underground tunnel. It has 198 guestrooms some with pleasant terraces and sea views, for an extra charge. The beach opposite the hotel is mainly shingle, however, there are plenty of sandy beaches less than a 5 minute walk away. There are bars and restaurants around the property and the `Balcon de Europa` is a 15 minutes walk or short taxi ride. Nerja`s most spectacular attraction is its caves, which are 2 miles from the centre of town.
