AVAILABLE MAY TO OCTOBER - The Hotel Ikaros is a friendly hotel situated on just 300 metres from Laganas`s beautiful sandy beach famous for it`s loggerhead turtles which swim in the sea nearby. The lively resort centre with its range of bars and clubs is a few steps away. Location Ikaros Hotel occupies a central location, close to a range of restaurants, bars, shops and the nightlife in the resort, which also includes a selection of traditional and more family-friendly entertainment, ideal for kids on a Laganas holiday. The beautiful 9km long stretch of sandy beach, which is famous for its resident loggerhead turtles, is just a few steps from the Hotel Ikaros. Laganas offers some water sports opportunities, including jet skiing, banana boat rides, diving and sailing but it is limited in order to protect the turtles. If you want to try some walking and explore the area by foot on your holidays, Laganas is surrounded by beautiful countryside with lots of paths and trails to choose from. Zante is a great choice for families with plenty of activities to try including horse riding, bicycle hire, volleyball, tennis and glass-bottomed boat trips. Why not book a boat trip to Shipwreck Beach or an excursion to the Blue Caves and Smugglers Cove.
