The hotel also has an animation team that provides daily and evening entertainment with shows and music such as Greek dancing nights and there is plenty of entertainment for younger guests too with a children's mini-club and disco, playground area and a junior club with internet and video games. Business and events are also well catered for with fax/photocopying, email and a large conference rooms for up to 200 people equipped with all the needed AV facilities. The private beach of the hotel is located just 20m away and you can find a variety of outdoor activities on offer with water sports, a golf course, horse riding and more to choose from. There is public transport with buses and taxis easily available close to the hotel, which can take you to the popular destinations on the island including Rhodes city where you can find all the shops and restaurants you could need. Accomodation The Electra Hotel boasts a total of 308 rooms with a variety of accommodation that includes 249 standard rooms, 12 junior suites, 34 family suites, 11 family rooms and 2 executive suites. All of the rooms come with views of the sea or the garden and pool and at least; one bathroom with bath and a shower. Amenities in all rooms include air conditioning/heating, direct line telephone, radio, tea/coffee maker, Wi-Fi (fee), electronic safe box, bathrobe and slippers and a minibar. The suites offer more space and luxury with additional features and amenities including DVD player, plasma TV and deluxe furniture. Junior and Executive suites feature front sea views and family rooms and suites offer great views of the pool and gardens. Eating and Drinking The hotel offers a great selection of bars and restaurants to choose from, all of which can be enjoyed as part of the hotel's all-inclusive package. The Grant is the main restaurant at the hotel offering great views over the Aegean Sea and serving an American breakfast from 7:30am to 10am. A varied buffet service is also served for lunch from 12:30pm to 2:30pm and dinner between 6:30pm and 9pm. The Chinese Corner is the hotel's Chinese ‘A la Carte' restaurant situated in the hotel's pretty gardens next to the pond. The Italian Flair offers Italian cuisine served ‘A la Carte' and has a great location by the hotel's pool. Open for lunch from 1pm and 3pm and dinner between 7:30pm and 11:30pm. The 3 bars at the hotel each offer a different atmosphere to suit different moods. The lounge bar features soft music and chic atmosphere open from 4:30pm – 1am. Lobby bar offers great views of the sea in refined comfort, open from 10am – 12am and the pool bar is the best place to grab a drink and refreshments while out by the pool or soaking up the sun, open from 10am – 6pm. Swimming Pools There is a large outdoor swimming pool featured at the hotel, freeform shaped and with a separate children's area.
