The Koukounaria Aparthotel is a family run property occupying a quiet location, 300 metres from the long sandy beach and the many tavernas and bars in the centre of Alykes. The resort consists of studio, one, two and three bedroomed apartments all beautifully decorated in traditional Zakynthian style. Alykes is on the north east coast of the island, in an area known as Alykon Bay. Location Alykes is famous for its Salt lakes and the complex is located just behind these salt flats in a quiet area surrounded by natural beauty. The capital city of Zakynthos with it`s narrow streets and pretty harbour is approximately 10 miles from Alykes. Accomodation All have balcony/terrace bathroom/shower WC kitchenette cooking facilities TV telephone fridge safe (certain amenities may be payable locally) Eating and Drinking The hotel has a large snack/pool bar which is open from 8.30 am until 9.00pm and serves breakfasts, refreshments and a wide variety of snacks all day long into the evening. Next to the snack bar is another bar open from 6.30pm until late it is beautifully furnished and has satellite televisions and large projection screen. Swimming Pools The aparthotel has a large Olympic sized swimming pool with a separate children`s pool.
