Travel Bubble which is a member of the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA J4901) meaning in the most unlikely event we become insolvent, ABTA will protect you by ensuring that the individual providers continue with your bookings as planned or, where that is not possible, by giving you a refund for any services that cannot continue. As an independent travel agent, not a tour operator, the Travel Bubble aims to offer the best prices available from a wide range of flight, accommodation, transfer and ancillary suppliers. This allows all of our customers to have the flexibility at a great price. Each booking is a separate transaction, available separately at the same price and covered by separate financial protection.

The protection for flights booked on travelbubble.com is covered in two separate ways. Most charter flights are covered by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) under their ATOL (Air Travel Organisers Licence) scheme. In the case of an ATOL company becoming insolvent, the customer makes a claim to the CAA via Travel Bubble and the claim will be paid direct to the customer by the CAA. All other flights, including the budget airlines, are fully protected through an insurance scheme (Airline Failure Insurance). In this instance of insolvency, we will claim a refund from the designated insurance company and pass this on to you. Maximum claim £1,500 per passenger. If an operator/airline becomes insolvent whilst you are away and no replacement flight home is provided, any claim is limited to the lower of the original price paid for the flight and the actual price paid for the replacement flight back to the UK. Maximum claim £1,500 per passenger. 100% of your money paid for accommodation purchased from the Travel Bubble, where the accommodation supplier becomes insolvent, will be refunded direct to the customer from Travel Bubble or an alternative property will be offered to the value of the original booking. Transfers, car hire and any other ancillary product sold through Travel Bubble is financially protected and you will be offered a replacement (to the value of the original cost) or receive a full refund.

If you have booked a full package holiday with a single tour operator, this is ATOL protected by the CAA, so if a package tour operator becomes insolvent the customer will make a claim to the CAA via Travel Bubble and the claim will be paid direct to the customer by the CAA. Please note: It is important not to confuse a flight & hotel booking with a package holiday.
