The charming VH Victoria Resort is a smaller resort focused on providing superb accommodation for golfers and honeymooners. It is in the Playa Dorada complex adjacent to the Robert Trent Jones 18-hole championship golf course and 5 minutes from the town of Puerto Plata. The surrounding area is self contained in approximately 250 acres and includes a mall, discos, casinos, restaurants, and of course the 13 mile beautiful sandy beach. Eating and Drinking The hotel offers varied a la carte dining from traditional Mexican dishes and gourmet pizzas to authentic international cuisine. Guests may choose from four bars including a pool bar, beach club bar, Lotus Club bar and La Cascada bar. The buffet style El Lago Cafeteria offers a selection of international dishes in a casual setting with striking views of the golf course and pool area. The Jardin Victoria Restaurant is in a beautiful setting and offers extraordinary international cuisine, reservations are required. The Pizzeria Mozzarella specializes in tasty brick oven dishes with a gorgeous view of the flower-filled lake and finally the Victoria Beach Club which sits directly on the beach and features flavourful Mexican and American dishes and drinks.
